As a guest blogger for L’Oreal Paris, Deya walks us through her tips and tricks to light up your eyes this holiday season.
“Hey loves,
In today’s post I want to walk you through how I created this beautiful holiday look using some of my favourite products from L’Oréal Paris!
I started off with the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Glow-Lock Primer to create a smooth canvas with a glow finish. Then used the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Longwear Shaping Stick Foundation for a flawless base and used a darker shade of the same foundation to contour. Finally, I then set everything in place with the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Sweep & Lock Translucent Setting Powder to light up my eyes this holiday season, I used the L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24H Pro-last eyeliner in the shade Cobalt Blue towards the inner corners of my waterline and then used the shade aubergine towards the outer corners. If you are someone who is afraid to play around with colours on your eyes, this is a less intimidating way to experiment with different colours! I love that these liners are super pigmented on any skin tone and really add the perfect pop of colour to any look to make your eyes the focus this holiday season. The formula is really creamy and stayed on the whole night.
If you, like me, struggle to draw on your winged eyeliner, the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Flash Cat Eye comes with a stencil which makes it super easy to draw the perfect winged liner. You place the stencil at about a 45 degree angle at the outer corners of your eyelids to fill in your wings. Then, simply take the stencil away and connect the wings to the rest of your liner. The felt tip of the liner really helped me draw on precise lines.
Finally, I then used the L’Oréal Paris Unlimited Mascara to lift up my natural lashes and make my eyes pop even more. The bendable wand really lets you get into the inner corner of your lashes for an eye-opening result and ultra-lifted lashes. To finish off the look, I used the L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Matte Lipstick in the shade 802 which is the perfect nude shade for anyone my skin tone. To define your lips and add more dimension, use any L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Matte Lip Liner that's a darker shade than your lipstick. I set everything in place using the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Spray & Set makeup extender, which helped keep my makeup on the whole night.
Wishing you all a beautiful holiday season filled with lots of love!!”
